Ask a question:

Inserting pics and galleries into your auctions.

Solution In our examples we use eBay, but other auction sites will work in a similar manner. You can watch a couple of quick video demonstrations on our Video Tutorials Page but here are the basic steps:

INSERTING A SINGLE IMAGE INTO YOUR AUCTION DESCRIPTION

1
. In your MEP account, click on the folder where you've stored the image, then click on the image itself.

2. Click the COPY button next to the box that says "HTML CODE! Inserts this image directly into WEB PAGES and AUCTION DESCRIPTIONS"

3. Go to the window where you have your auction listing started, and in the " Enter your own HTML " mode (if using eBay), paste the code into your description by placing your cursor where you want to image to be and right-click / choose "paste".

TO INSERT A GALLERY OF SEVERAL IMAGES INTO YOUR AUCTION

1. In your MEP account, click the CREATE A GALLERY button and select the folder where you've stored the images for the auction, then click the CREATE button.

2. Click the COPY button next to the box that says "AUCTION FAVORITE!!!
Embed entire gallery directly into your web page or AUCTION
"

3. Go to the window where you have your auction listing started, and in the description section click the " HTML " mode tab (if using eBay), paste the code into your description by placing your cursor where you want to image to be and right-click / choose "paste".

TO INSERT A PORTFOLIO (Photo Album) OF SEVERAL IMAGES INTO YOUR AUCTION

NOTE: PORTFOLIOS work very well for auctions, and in some cases is better suited than a "Gallery". If you have a really large number of images to place into an auction, this is a great feature to try!

1. In your MEP account, click the CREATE A PORTFOILIO button and select the folder where you've stored the images for the auction, then click the CREATE button.

2. Click the COPY button next to the box that says "EMBED Portfolio into AUCTIONS and Web Pages"

3. Go to the window where you have your auction listing started, and in the description section click the " HTML " mode tab (if using eBay), paste the code into your description by placing your cursor where you want to image to be and right-click / choose "paste".
