Q. How can I make my images upload faster? Why is it important to resize my photos before uploading them?

- You already have a file with the same name uploaded to your account. (A safety measure to prevent you from over-writing existing photos that might be in use).
- Your filename contains spaces or unsuppported characters such as commas and apostrophes.
Q. What type of files can I host, and how large can filesizes be?
A. You can upload .JPG, .GIF, and .PNG files. And although MEP can receive files that are up to 1MB each in filesize, for web-friendly images it is recommended that you optimize / resize your pics to under 200kb. A. When you upload a new image it gets uploaded to our servers just like it is on your computer. So, if you are attempting to upload huge files it will drastically afect your upload speed (which is already capped by your ISP). The quality is set when you or someone else views the image.
